What is one of your addictions?
Submitted by Paperheart.
My biggest addiction is the internet! Even when I should be diligently working away (like right now) I find myself checking e-mail, blogs, and even news sites to see what else is going on in the world. My day is not complete until I have logged on for a while.
How many computers do you have in your house?
Submitted by Foomper.
At any given time there may be up to six computers in my house. We have our standard family desktop computer, plus our old desktop that is no longer hooked up. Then my husband and I each have our own laptops. Plus we both have laptops for work that we bring home with us. There is definitely not a shortage of computers in our home.

How did you meet your best friend(s)?
When I was 13, my family moved to a small town in Northwest Missouri. I wasn't happy at all about moving and spent the first week or so in the new town moping around the house. One day I was sitting around reading a book when the doorbell rang. My mom went and answered the door and then called for me. When I got there, there were two girls my age standing at the door. One of them I had met at church on Sunday. The other one I had not met.
It turned out that the second girl's dad lived across the street and had a pool in his back yard. They invited me over to go swimming. I didn't really want to go because I was very shy (plus I hated wearing a swimsuit even then) but they finally convinced me. They invited a few other neighborhood kids over and we spent the afternoon swimming and hanging out.
I remember very little of that day now, except for the song that she played over and over (Walking in Memphis) and the fact that I didn't given one thought to putting on any sunscreen. I spent the next two weeks inside my house wearing nothing but a swimsuit because I had gotten such a bad sunburn. My shoulders were completely blistered. I could barely touch anything without wanting to cry.
I eventually recovered from the sunburn and ventured out of the house again. Amy became one of the best friends I have ever had. Even though we live far away from each other now, I can't imagine my life without her in it.

What do you collect?
I collect pretty much everything. I'm a total packrat. I still need to sort and have a garage sale one of these days.
But, I suppose when you talk about true collecting I would have to say my Coca-Cola memorabilia. I have a house full of Coca-Cola stuff. It started when I was in high school and now I can't seem to stop it. If I were at home I would post a pic, but can't do it from here.
What was the last game you played?
I had to really think about this before I answered it. I couldn't think of when the last time I actually played a game was. Then I remembered. A few weeks ago, we went down to my dad's lake house with my sister and her family. After the kiddos were in bed my sister, her husband, my hubby, and I sat outside on the deck, had a few drinks, and played a game of Spades. My sister and I totally got our butts beat, but we still had fun. Shortly after the game ended, my hubby decided he wanted to go swimming so he took his beer and went for a swim in the lake by himself. It was an interesting night!
What song or lyrics are stuck in your head at the moment? What album is it from?

For some reason, "Someday You Will Be Loved" by Death Cab for Cutie is in my head. Not sure why as I haven't listened to it in ages.
What's your favorite way to keep in touch? Phone, snail mail, email, text message, Vox, _____ ?
I am a BIG fan of the e-mail. Instead of calling friends I tend to e-mail them (well, the ones that have e-mail and actually check it anyway). I also use IM quite a bit when I'm at work. It's a little easier to cover up than a personal phone call when my boss walks in.
Otherwise, I post everything on one of my many blogs, depending on who I want to share with. I have one that is pretty much a family only blog. Then I have the one that I post things on that I don't really want to share with family. Then I have Vox, which I haven't really figured out what I want to use for quite yet.
What is your browser's default home page set to?
Submitted by Kelev T. Cat.
On my work computer it is set to my personalized Google home page. That way I can check my gmail and blog updates with a quick glance.
On my home laptop, I think it is the standard Google page.
On my home desktop it is Yahoo.
